Youth Against Racism & Classism is a youth-led conference created around the idea that the young people of today are the leaders of tomorrow. This conference aims to give youth the opportunity, knowledge, and confidence to effect change. Bringing 50 youth from all over the Lower Mainland together in March, the conference will be a safe space where youth can ask questions, bring their own ideas forward, and learn how classism and racism is affecting their communities. The conference will involve interactive activities and discussions, and will be a great opportunity for YOU(TH) to make connections with other like-minded youth and gain more social awareness. At the end of the conference, participants will be asked to plan their own initiatives to help tackle issues regarding racism and classism in their communities.
