In honour of Stop the Exploitation of Children and Youth Awareness Week (March 5 - 11th 2012), The City of Vancouver is hosting a free event (for parents and youth aged 13 and up ) in partnership with the Vancouver Public Library, Vancouver Board of Education, Park Board, and the Vancouver Community Action Team against sexual exploitation.

When: March 6th 2012 (7:00-8:30pm)  
          Doors open @ 6:30 for Refreshments & FREE PIZZA
 
What:  What's Up Online? - Stopping the Sexual Exploitation of Children and Youth
Where: Vancouver Public Library - Central Branch (downtown), Alma Van Dusen & Peter Kaye Rooms

Key topics:
Emerging trends in online youth culture, high risk activities online, the nature of online sexual exploitation, and web safety tips.
