Drug & Alcohol Prevention
Hey all you people interested in what the City's doing about preventing harm from drug / alcohol / substance use!
The Youth Outreach Team and the Drug Policy Program are collaborating once again to work on the youth component of the Prevention Strategy for Vancouver. Our efforts are focused on getting youth input on the draft plan called "Preventing Harm from Psychoactive Substance Use". To simplify that process, we condensed the plan into the Short & Sweet Version, created to be youth-friendly, and really, people-friendly. In addition, we are working on developing a youth prevention strategy for the Vancouver community, highlighting effective ways of involving youth in policy development while creating change on a community level.
