Drive on the Drive
Do you sometimes wish that your schoolwork could somehow take you out ot the classroom and into the community? Drive on the Drive (DotD) is a two-year social responsibility pilot project. It supports teachers and students at Britannia, Gladstone, Templeton and Van Tech to use curriculum- and service-based activities to get students involved in the Commercial Drive community, in addition to the community surrounding each school.

Vancouver School Board
Vancouver residents elect the Vancouver School Board, a group of nine school trustees, at large every three years. The community elects the board to represent them in the conduct of public education, and to exercise their judgment in setting policies and making decisions. Founded in 1886, the Vancouver School Board provides educational programs for 60,000 elementary, secondary and adult students in 109 schools and six adult education centers. So it's probably a good idea to find out what they're up to now and again. And you can do just that by checking out their website above.
