Sit on a City Advisory Committee

The City of Vancouver has up to 23 Civic Advisory Bodies — groups of citizens coming together to give advice to Mayor, Council and staff on particular issues.

Committees range from the Active Transportation Policy Council, Vancouver Athletic Commission and the Vancouver Food Policy Council to the LGBTQ Advisory Committee, the Multicultural Advisory Committee and the Children, Youth and Families Advisory Committee.

Vancouver residents, of all ages, can apply to be a volunteer on a Committee. Bring your perspective and contribute your experience. To find out more and how to apply, click here.
